Late night Buell mods

I bought this Thunderbolt a while back and until I have time to really do what I want with it, these simple mods will have to do.

Headlight bracket (Bates knockoff side mount light will be painted black)

new tail/brake/directionals



Some sort of small fairing/windscreen will be in order

Some progress

Got a seat mounted on the Triumph and threw the Wassell on it nice and high. Check out an upcoming issue of Iron Horse if you care enough to see how a goon like me goes about mounting a seat with the help from the boys @ Biltwell and Lowbrow Customs.

Same tank, one with modifications.

Sectioning

Shortened 3 inches, front narrowed about an inch, and some height shaved off. Tank shell is being made for an SR project a friend of mine has in his shop.

I may get some hate mail for placing this Sportster tank on a Triumph, but I had to see how it looked. I'm split between this tank or the Wassell. Let the discussions begin.

some bends

Got a few more days before the arrival of some stainless handlebar bungs, so here's some bends in mild steel my friend Evan made in the bender while I was working on tanks. Thanks for the help EM.
