Yeah, I had hair

To anyone that's never known me to have hair, here's two examples of why I was punished to baldness.  SMU id circa 1989, blonde mohawk with black devlock .  SUNY New Paltz id circa 1995, run of the mill art student bleach job.  So ultra cool.

Flippin' fenders

Started on a flip on a fender my friend Keith sent me to work on.  It's so fun to pound on metal with a 3 lb. striking utensil, very satisfying.  Corner finishing is still undetermined.

New bars for Evan

Made a set of bars for my friend Evan this morning for his first motorcycle.  Wanted to make a cross between cafe/superbike/motocross bars for his CM400E.  He doesn't know I'm not charging him anything for the bars, it'll be my wedding present to him.  He'll be riding with us on this years Gypsy Run, jumping in with both feet for sure.

Pagoda bars

The newest installment of handlebar madness.  Man it's hard to make something that someone else hasn't, and I'm sure someone out there has made these before.  I'm dreaming of ironheads with prism tanks lately.  That was my motivation for these bars, and they are for sale.

Niche pieces

I broke out some older jewelry scaled pieces to show the three people who check out my blog from time to time.  I was really drawn to architecture at the time, especially churches and other religious structures.  Found objects were a part of my work, I always collected tidbits and other treasures (junk).  To anyone that finds themselves in the Kingston, NY area, make sure you find your way to P&T Surplus on 198 Abeel St.  This place will blow your mind if you love metal and other random junk.

Peaked t-bars

I was recently going through some of my past metal work I produced in college.  I was really into creating these niche-like spaces to shelter images or objects.  Blah, blah, blah.  These are handlebars, no real art speak or narrative needed.

TV bars

Some cutting, some bending, and some welding.  Ta da, another set of new bars.  It's almost like magic.  This particular pair has been spoken for.

This photo is of a Rickman cafe racer.  This bike is perfect 70's cafe racer style, so luscious.

T-Z's

These are the same style bars I fabricated for my shovelhead.  I was contacted by Keith to make a set for his new build.  I figured since he wasn't in the same state as I am, we wouldn't run into each other at the local watering hole rocking the same bars.  Plus, money talks baby, money talks.
