Toecutter's Hate List

My friend Terry decided to finally add some pics and content to his blog, and I must say that he's doing some cool shit. Send some business his way, he's a talented fabricator and all around good dude.

Yankee swap X-mas score

Got together with some of the Northeast knuckelheads for a holiday snackfest and yankee swap. Watched "Brittown" and "On any Sunday", I never get sick of watching the latter. Thanks for the hospitality Bawb!

Dan was the big winner, scoring this painted warrior with a twelve pack of abs.

The white stuff

Got/getting hammered by a good size storm right now. I hate shoveling. At least my commute isn't a long one.

Thanks Chris!

Got a cool package from Chris Collins the other day and put the shirt and stickers to use right away. Thanks a ton Chris, back at you.

Splitting open and narrowing

These video posts have been a little out of order, but if you shuffle them around a bit you can have the full step by step process of building a narrow friscoed sportster tank.

I want to see the tanks people built for themselves, so send me some pics. I hope these videos helped in some way!

Gas tank tunnel bender

I've seen others who've made similar benders, sorry that I can't remember who sparked this idea for me.

tunnel folding

Sometimes I like to fold metal with a chunk of brass.

Kim Boyle=Ruler

Got a package from the left coast, home of Kim Boyle, BCM, and his company Bench Mark. If you're unfamiliar with Kim's going on, check out his blog to view his skilled handiwork.

Thank you for the package my friend, keep up the great work!

bung work... get your mind out of the gutter.

down the road

Walter of Kickstart Cycle Supply sent this pic of me blasting down the road on the shovel. I don't have too many photos riding this bike, this one is my favorite.

hammerforming a tank bottom

If you're building yourself a tank, here's a way to hammer out a bottom so you can pinch weld the bottom seam for extra strength. Go have at it!

Working on a tank shell

Got a new flash video camera and recorded some fabrication in the shop. It's long, boring, with bad 80's alternative music in the background. Enjoy!

Good deal

Found myself at HF two days ago buying the usual cutting wheels I blow through. Look what I found in the "open box sale" area for $85. All I had to do was modify it so I could mount a light to the top. Shovel head blasting extravaganza.

Metal spinning anyone?

This is killing me. I need to win the lottery so I can fill a big shop with big equipment and expand into different areas. Looks fun, doesn't it?

mold making pt 1

Here's the first part of the flat back mold making. Time for me to get some mold making equipment I guess.

making molds

I did some really simple aluminum casting while in school and keep telling myself that I'm going to do some sand casting.  Well I'm in research mode and found some cool "how to" video clips.

It's about time

I can't believe I waited so long to buy a lift, even if it's only a HF piece.  I must have thought it was cool to complain about my back hurting all the time.

Hardtail tweaking

Every hardtail needs some tweaking out of the box.  The one for my Triumph was no different, not a big deal though.

You know you do it too!

Sketchy "grab your cell or camera out of your pocket and take pics while riding trick".  I have all the respect in the world for photographers that take real photos with real cameras while riding.

Coming soon

Metal things that look like this.  Thanks Tim, as always you are the ruler.

Some new crap

Not as exiting as fabrication pictures, but what the hell.  A couple pics of some softgoods available.

OOOh, that nice old plastic smell.

Got some bubble shields from Lowbrow Customs yesterday.  I've got some plans for these that don't include having to smell the old plastic.

Thanks to Jake Cutler @ Barnstorm Cycles for his time and effort today helping me lathe/machine some new bottom springer leg spuds.  More to come on the shortening of a narrow springer.

Store is open

Finally got off my ass and opened my store so people can buy some t-shirts and other garbage.  Thanks to all who've supported my small fabrication business, buy some more stuff so I can pay my bills and feed my dog.  More new stuff will be added soon!

Swap goodies

Nothing super exiting, but I dig the stuff.
