mold making pt 1

Here's the first part of the flat back mold making. Time for me to get some mold making equipment I guess.

I did some really simple aluminum casting while in school and keep telling myself that I'm going to do some sand casting.  Well I'm in research mode and found some cool "how to" video clips.

Trip to NJ

Went on a secret mission to NJ this weekend.  Thanks for the hospitality Walter, wish I lived closer so we could hang out more.

It's about time

I can't believe I waited so long to buy a lift, even if it's only a HF piece.  I must have thought it was cool to complain about my back hurting all the time.

Helmet art for sale

Need to fund some winter projects, so I'll be creating some moto inspired sculptural pieces from time to time.  This lamp comes with the vintage Shoei metalflake helmet and your choice of frosted orange or clear bubble sheild.  $300 shipped in the cont US.

Hardtail tweaking

Every hardtail needs some tweaking out of the box.  The one for my Triumph was no different, not a big deal though.

Sketchy "grab your cell or camera out of your pocket and take pics while riding trick".  I have all the respect in the world for photographers that take real photos with real cameras while riding.

Got some bubble shields from Lowbrow Customs yesterday.  I've got some plans for these that don't include having to smell the old plastic.

Springer spuds

Thanks to Jake Cutler @ Barnstorm Cycles for his time and effort today helping me lathe/machine some new bottom springer leg spuds.  More to come on the shortening of a narrow springer.

Store is open

Finally got off my ass and opened my store so people can buy some t-shirts and other garbage.  Thanks to all who've supported my small fabrication business, buy some more stuff so I can pay my bills and feed my dog.  More new stuff will be added soon!

Nothing super exiting, but I dig the stuff.

Stafford swap

Had good weather finally for the Stafford swap, and it showed in the amount of vendors and stuff there was.  Tons of bins to dig through, so Herb was happy.  Our crew scored on a bunch of stuff early so the day was a success from the get go.  Item of the day was a running, titled SR500 for $450.  I wish I had brought my van and more cash.
