15 hours

That's around how long it took to get the electrics box to this point. I know you're saying "finish that thing already and take pics of something more interesting", but I'm documenting my path into forming and welding aluminum. I find myself welding steel mostly, and aluminum tig welding is, to say the very least, different.

Different is an understatement, but if you clean your Al really good it's not as challenging. A new SS wire brush and elbow grease. Also the right tungsten is a must and depending if your using an inverter welder or old school, you'll need to ball the tungsten. It's just plain a hassle to set it up right, but when it's all said and done I really like Al TIG welding. Oh yeah and that E-box is soo sick!
