Wearing a spark shield and glasses, I still found a way to bounce a bit of metal/abrasive off my chest and directly into my right eyeball dead center. Not too serious, but uncomfortable nonetheless. Mom, when you read this don't freak out. Emergency room eye picking time.

Sorry Jay.
I learned the hard way a couple of times now but most of all I learned go to an ophthalmologist not an optometrist. Night and day difference in skill set, cost and overall panic that there's metal sticking in your eyeball.
Understood, that's exactly what the Dr said. Eye is numbed, just waiting on a the ophthalmologist. I'll be back shooting more bits into my eyes in no time!
no good...
Ha, FUEL for my FIRE! Sorry to hear you got a dancing duster, but I tell my students time and time again to keep their safety glasses on, EVEN under their helmets. They keep asking me why...
Fast Recovery my friend
So sorry. Heal fast!
that sucks . like kim i two had better luck at a ophthalmologist . skilled hand at eyeballs

and get back in the shop and make some shit!

Yup, saw the ophthalmologist late last night, they stayed late to accommodate. The Dr got 98% out, have to go back early fri to get the little bits ground out. As fun as a sharp stick in the eye... oh wait...
Thanks for the well wishes boys, now back to work.
I'll be keeping an eye out for a progress update.
