... and it always complicates welding. Joel's tank is getting closer now that I've decided on a strategy. I wish the front beads were smoother but the thin gauge steel with rust pitting on the inside is dicey to weld.
Glad (in that uniquely german happy in anothers misfortune kinda way) to see even someone as talented as you has these kinds of problems. I had the same kind of issues with a tank from flyrite; one second you running a groovy little bead watching that miniature sun glow and fade while a nice little weld grows in it's wake, the next there is a hole the width of your pinky as you hit a thin piece of steel.
Then you have to drink until you're happy again and that shit takes at least an hour what a drag.
