Those aren't bungs, it's some 1" stainless tubing mated to some 7/8" tubing.
I use these 3M unified wheels on a pedestal grinder to clean up welds after some rough round file work. I normally go through different grits of emery paper up to 400 and then use red scuff pads for overall finish.
